Myasthenia Gravis: Symptoms, Diagnosis and Treatment

Myasthenia Gravis is not uniform in the way it affects people. Different sufferers have difficulties with different muscle groups - the severity can fluctuate, and a reaction to treatment can vary as well. The course of the condition is variable, but in most cases progressive.

There are many factors that can trigger episodes of weakness in sufferers including other illnesses such as viral infections, drugs that affect the neuromuscular junction, hot weather, pregnancy, and emotional upset. However, in each case it depends on the individual.
